Courtney Bethea PA

Courtney was born and raised in a small, rural community in southwest Alabama. She is the middle daughter of three girls and grew up just a mile down the road from her grandparents cattle farm. Growing up, her mom practiced as an RN and taught nursing classes at the local community college whilst her dad was a mechanical engineer, who was very active with the local volunteer fire department. Serving others has always been a big part of hers and her family’s life.

After graduating from the University of Alabama in 2015 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Performance-Exercise Science, she attended the physician assistant program at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. During this time, she underwent rigorous and comprehensive training before completing her program. She graduated in 2018 and became a Certified Physician Assistant with the passing of her board exam. Since that time, she has worked in urgent care and family practice, before accepting a position with Premier Gastroenterology. She truly feels like God’s calling on her life is the area of medicine and she is thrilled to have this opportunity to serve her community.

Since her move to Little Rock in 2016, the Lord has blessed her with some of her dearest friends, her husband, Brad, and their baby girl. They are proud to call Central Arkansas home. Outside of work, they enjoy being with family and close friends, watching Arkansas and Alabama athletics, and trying to keep up with their daughter.
